It was an August gathering today as Agbaka Afolabi Obasuyi, the traditional ruler of Alagbaka Community hosted the people of the community and urged them to vote in favour of the APC candidate, in the forthcoming Gubernatorial election in Ondo State.

Members of the community trooped out to attend the meeting and promised to always support the government and also mobilise their families who were not staying in Alagbaka to cast their Votes for APC.

They appreciated the contribution of Akeredolu-led administration to the progress and development of Ondo state particularly in Akure kingdom which include quality health care, road construction, renovations and constructions of schools for the communities and regular payment of workers salary.

Some members who spoke berated Agboola Ajayi for being an unloyal deputy Governor who was over-ambitious to become governor despite the trust the governor had in him when he was still in APC.

They, however, advised the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Eyitayo Jegede to wait till the turn of the Central Senatorial district to be governor, and urged him to tame some thugs around him who have been tormenting the opposition parties’ members in Akure.

Notable party members present to witness the meeting included the Convener of Ibi giga Ambassador who also doubles as Chairman Klick Connect network, Chief Alex Ajipe, a member representing Owo in the House of Assembly, Hon Oluwole Ogunmolasuyi, ward chairman, Councillors, community leaders among others.

Chief Alex Ajipe and honourable Ogunmolasuyi appreciated the gathering and promised to always visit the residents and always make sure dividends of democracy is extended to them as far as they have the love of Akeredolu in mind.

Another meeting is expected to hold on Tuesday in continuation of the campaign mobilization for Aketi second term.
