As the General Overseer(GO) of the Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries (MFM), Dr. Daniel Olukoya is expected in Ondo State tomorrow, the people of the state have been assured of divine encounter with God.
According to the Regional Overseer of MFM Southwest 4, Akure, Pastor Enojiasun Irabor, who was in The Hope Newspaper premises to speak on the G.O is expected to be in Akure on Friday 23rd as part of a week long programme wish commenced on Monday 19th November at Southwest 4 Region, behind Adebowale cooking gas Ilesha road, Akure.
On Thursday 22nd, there will be a campus fellowship conference and Congress comprising the students of Ondo and the Ekiti State at the Federal University of Technology, Akure and on Friday 23rd by 10.00am.
The visit with the theme “Embargo must Die” will feature foundation laying ceremony of the new 5,000 capacity ultra-modern church auditorium on Saturday 24th, November 2018 at Southwest 4 by the GO.
Following the foundation laying ceremony by 10.00am on the same day, an open air crusade will start at FUTA sports stadium, by 3.00pm.
Olukoya is scheduled to hold a VIP’s fellowship on Sunday 25th at the International event center, (The Dome) at 3.00pm.
According to the Regional Overseer, who was represented by the Zonal Pastor of the church, Pastor Adesina Akadiri, the essence of the VIP’s fellowship is to reach out to some dignitaries like traditional rulers, politicians and career persons who may not be able to attend the open crusade due to their status, health challenges, tight schedule or the environment of the crusade.
He added that the fellowship is also a means of mentoring as it is meant to be a non-denominational one, hence, the need to create a special and attractive environment for these set of people.
He explained that Jesus Christ also mingled with important personalities in order to extend the gospel to them.
On the measures put in place to control the large crowd that the G.O’s visit will cause, and to ensure security of lives and property, the Regional Overseer noted that the Nigeria Police has assured of 165 officers to be on ground.
He added also that men of the Nigeria Civil Defence Corps, Road safety, and the Nigerian Army will also be on ground with their patrol vehicles.
Speaking on the theme of the visit, “Embargo must die” the Regional Overseer said, “so many lives are in limitations, destinies have been hindered , many glories are being oppressed , many in the captivity and bondage of darkness, many people languishing in poverty.
” All of them are summarily under Satanic embargo , and by the presence of the G. O, which will also usher in the presence of God , we believe strongly that embargo will be lifted and people will experience breakthrough through the power of God”. He said.
