Days after the strange appearance of some Islamic inscriptions on some leaves and rocks in Ikare Akoko, the headquarters of Akoko Northeast local government area of Ondo State, tourists have continued to throng the area, searching for cure to their ailments and spiritual answers to one or other issues.
Hundreds of people from the state and across the country, including Muslims and non Muslims and in particular, Hausas, troop in to have a glance at the Islamic inscriptions on a rock and some vegetation behind the Local Authority Primary School, Okela, Ikare Akoko.
The inscriptions like Allahu Akbar, Lahilala Illahilahi saying Allah is great and testimony that prophet Mohammed was His Prophet was sighted in the area on Sunday by some residents.
It was learnt that some tourists have been keeping vigil in the place with intense prayers asking for favour from God.
Sheikh Mohammed Abbas Abubakr had in a chat with The Hope said this was not the first time such will happen to show the greatness and oneness of our creator.
The cleric believed that Allah has many ways to manifest in our lives to remind to turn good and do good always.
He advised people to move closer to Allah and pray so that the global challenges can be reduced.
One of the visitors to the scene, Mr Yakubu Animashaun, a mechanic from Ikare, said what he saw was a true sign of the existence of ALLAH.
Yakubu said judging from the exodus of the people which was across religion tribal affinity affirmed the genuineness of the development.
He saw nothing wrong in people coming to the place to ask for the face of God but cautioned against making it an alternative to the believe in God being the only source of answer to our hearts desires.
An okada rider, Mr Taye Oyileka said he had been making brisk bussiness since the occurrence from people who are going to the place.
