The Association of Communication Scholars and Professionals of Nigeria (ACSPN) is set to hold its 1st Virtual and 7th Annual Conference of the Association as well as its Annual General Meeting.
The two day event, which is to hold from Wednesday September 2nd 2020 to Thursday, September 3rd, 2020, is tagged “Communicating Identities and Nationhood: Promoting Inclusive Democracy through Access to Information and Knowledge Societies.”
One of the highlights of the two day event, is a Special Panel: tagged “The Media, Artificial Intelligence, Nation States, and the Future,” which would simultaneously focus on “Artificial Intelligence, Democracy, and the Future of Journalism”.
Some collaborating organizations at the conference include UNESCO, Information for All Programme (IFAP), and World Commission on the Ethics of Scientific Knowledge and Technology (COMEST), as well as the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON).
