COVID-19: Pray for Akeredolu, others’ quick recovery, Agbaka enjoins Ondo people

…describes the death of the Commissioner for Health as a huge loss

The Agbaka of Alagbaka Akure,Prince Afolabi Obasuyi, has called on the people of Ondo State irrespective of Political affiliation to pray for God’s intervention on the health of the state Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, and other residents of the state who had contracted COVID-19 virus.

He further advised Ondo people to take extra caution in their daily routine and outing and obey all the guidelines as stipulated by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.

The Alagbaka monarch was given the advice considering the spike in the cases of coronavirus pandemic in the state, through which over 200 have been affected.

He expressed sadness over the demise of the State’s Commissioner for Health, Dr. Wahab Adegbenro, describing it as a huge loss.

He condoled with the State government, his immediate family, and prayed for quick recovery for patients of the deadly coronavirus in Ondo State.

His words: “I was taken aback when I heard the news of the health status of our dear Governor Arakunrin
Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN.
I pray that the Almighty God that restored
zion and raised the dead after three days, will attend to you and grant you quick recovery sir.

“The God that has been your rock, will fight your battles for you and you will surely triumph above your enemies.

“By the special grace of the Almighty you shall overcome and we will all celebrate together.

“Let me use this medium to appeal to the people of Ondo State to be steadfast and team up with Aketi to complete all the ongoing developmental projects.
The sun will continue to shine on our dear state”.
