Aketi2020: Group appoints wards’ coordinators across Ondo state

…set to give palliatives

In its determination and commitment towards the re-election of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, a political group nicknamed IBI GIGA Ambassadors has appointed 203 Ward Coordinators across Ondo State.

In a statement issued by the Secretary of Ibi Giga Ambassadors, Mr. Adetunji Gbenga, the role of the coordinators among other things was to publicise the achievements of the Governor in the areas of industrialization, infrastructure, Health, Education and Agriculture.

The Convener of the group, Chief Alex Ajipe charged them to dedicate their energy and expertise towards the success of the project, noting that they were to liaise with and report the day to day activities of the Wards Ambassadors to the Directorate through the office of the Deputy Director General (DDG) of the Directorate.

Ajipe, who spoke through the Director General of Ibi Giga Ambassadors, Prof. Lanre Olu-Adeyemi, also charged the Coordinators to engage in aggressive mobilization of people in their communities towards the re-election of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN.

They were, however, informed about the decision of the group to distribute palliative items across the wards to cushion the effect of COVID-19 pandemic.

The statement reads: “Note: all concerned should send their WhatsApp numbers and Account Numbers to the Secretary with GSM No. 08064464675 as the Directorate has made necessary arrangement for
palliative to cushion the effects of the lockdown in the state aimed at preventing the spread of Covid – 19 in the state”.
