ROTDOW HOLDS XMAS PARTY WITH AKURE CHILDREN

As part of the ongoing Christmas celebration, the Restoration of the Dignity of Womanhood, ROTDOW, in collaboration with 3T foundation and SWAN today organised Christmas party for children heat Sunbeth Hotel, Sijuade Akure.

ROTDOW which is envisioned to have a world where there will be no disparity based on gender, possession, health, location and colour, a world which will be placed for all had in attendance children, parents and guardians from NEPWAN, Ark Orphanage, ROTDOW sponsored children, HANDEF foundation and the physically challenged.

Giving her address at the event, the CEO of the organization, Mrs Olabisi Omolona who welcome the participants said ROTDOW has taken it upon itself to celebrate, encourage and motivate children, that hard work pays and their future is very bright.

“You are born to fulfil destiny and all that you need for greatness in life has been graciously bequeathed unto you the moment you were born, all you need is hard work. The fulfilment of your destinies is key and it must not be toyed with”.

She then advised the children to be obedient to God, their parents, be committed and dedicated to their education, never allow anyone or circumstance to define their existence and never to disappoint themselves as they are a gift to their generation.

She finally solicited prayers for a smooth set up of an orphanage in 2020 whereby more lives will be impacted.

Also speaking, the CEO, 3T foundation, Mr Lukman Gbemi who appreciated God for the lives of the children advised them not to let anyone write them down or intimidate them.

He stressed that the children have the duty to become whatever and whoever they want to become.

Lukman, who further urged the children to be hardworking and prayerful said God will not bless emptiness but what they decide to do.

Furthermore, lecturer from UNIMED, Mrs Adamolekun Aarinola said one thing ROTDOW, being a member of breast cancer of Nigeria do go to schools and for medical outreaches.

She also urged the children to be hard working, being serious in education and maintain an optimal personal hygiene in order to live healthy.

The event was graced by important dignitaries including the representative of the Commissioner for Women Affairs, Mrs Layiwola Epebinu, Mrs Akinpelu, members of the Youth Corp amongst others.
