‘Akeredolu not biased in the spread of infrastructural projects’

Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Mr. Saka Yusuf Ogunleye has described the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu as an unbiased leader in the way and manner he governs the state.

Mr. Ogunleye made the assertion when the House Committee on Works paid a familiarisation visit to the Ministry on Thursday.

He explained that all the three Senatorial Districts of the state are benefitting from the government infrastructure programme.

“Massive projects are going on in Ore, Akure and Akokoland, which spread across the entire state. This is a clear demonstration of exemplary leadership. The Governor promised to serve the people and he has been faithful to that vow.”

The Commissioner commended the Committee for supporting the Ministry, saying the success being recorded was largely due to the backing of the House, which ensure quick and smooth passage of its budget.

In his contribution, the Special Adviser on Works, Lands and Infrastructure, Engineer Raimi Aminu said the construction of road projects across the state was being hampered by the elongated rainy season, adding that the works would resume now that the rains are subsiding.

He assured that all the projects in progress would be completed as promised.

Chairman of the House Committee, Dr. Akinyemi Adeyemi and members all commended the Governor for the projects being undertaken at Ore, Ikare and other parts of the state.
They said the governors performance in the last two and a half years make them proud members of the APC.
The lawmakers however appealed to the ministry to work on rural farm roads.
