A Federal Lawmaker representing Owo/Ose Federal Constituency and Member House Committee on Appropriation, Otunba Timehin Adelegbe has urged Muslim faithful to follow peace with one another.
Adelegbe gave this advice in his goodwill message to all Muslim faithfuls in his Constituency and Ondo State at large.
He urged them to always reflect on the need for a peaceful coexistent and to also preach the tenets of peace.
“There is no alternative to peace; for a development to come in any society, all citizens must imbibe the spirit of peace as no meaningful development can be attained in an atmosphere of rancour.
“I urge every Muslim faithful to use this festive season to fashion out ways to peaceful coexistence with all well-meaning Nigerians”, he advised.
Adelegbe therefore enjoined all Muslims to shun disruptive and divisive utterances and actions emanating from some unpatriotic quarters lately.
He used the medium to condemn in strong term, the increasing rate of violence in the Nigeria, and urged all Muslim faithfuls to take advantage of the Eid al-Fitr to call on Allah for a peaceful Nation where all citizens live harmoniously without rancour.
Adelegbe also advised Muslims to celebrate with moderation and imbibe the principles of peace and tolerance.
